Spay/Neuter Clinic Instructions, Londonderry

In collaboration with Animal Rescue Veterinary Services (ARVS), we provide cost-effective neuter services for male rabbits.

Before the Surgery

Rabbits are NOT fasted before surgery. Please feed as you normally would including breakfast. Water is also fine.
IMPORTANT: please bring your rabbit’s favorite treats – leafy greens not pellets or hay but greens, herbs, veggies like kale, strawberry, cilantro
We like them to continue eating up until surgery and have them nibbling on high quality treats as they wake from anesthesia
Ensure your rabbit is in a clean, secure carrier. It is IMPERATIVE that they have an absorbent towel so they don’t wallow in their urine in the carrier. Bring an extra clean towel to go home.

On the Day of Surgery

Drop-off Location: Animal Rescue Veterinary Services at 194 Rockingham Road, Londonderry, NH 03053. (NOTE: Locating ARVS can be challenging. The clinic is situated behind Financial Insurance Services [i.e., FIS Insurance], opposite of Dunkins.)
Drop-off Time: Between 8:15 am – 9 am.
Your bunny will be:
- Neutered
- Given a nail trim
- Microchipped (at an additional charge if selected by the pet owner during checkout)
Pick-up Time: ARVS personnel will call you after midday to inform you of your specific pick-up time. Alternatively, you may collect your pet between 4-4:30 pm.
Aftercare: The vet will provide instructions when you come to pick up your pet(s)
