About AWARE of NH

History

Founded in 2023, the Animal Welfare Alliance Resource & Education of NH (AWARE NH) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to compassionate care for New Hampshire’s cats and dogs. Serving as a central hub, we provide resources, support, and education to ensure pets receive the care they deserve.

In October 2024, we opened a full surgical suite, offering low-cost and free spay/neuter services for cats and dogs across the state. We also provide monthly low-cost vaccinations and operate a pet food pantry to support pet owners in need.

Our programs focus on preventing pet overpopulation, empowering caregivers with knowledge and resources, fostering a stronger animal welfare community, and promoting responsible pet ownership through educational seminars.

From spay/neuter clinics to educational seminars on animal care, we cater to pet owners, animal lovers, and community members alike. Our goals are to elevate animal welfare standards, reduce shelter populations, and empower pet owners with the knowledge they need for responsible care. With our holistic approach and unwavering commitment, utilizing and supporting AWARE of NH means becoming part of a compassionate community where animals thrive.
